Conversation

LB (left side of Brain): Let’s go!
RB ( Right side of Brain): Where to?
LB: It’s time for the walk. I am so excited.
RB: What? OMG!
LB: Come on. Exercise is good for health.
RB: We are healthy. We are young, still have time before we grow old. Can we go tomorrow instead?
LB: We need to go today.
RB: Can we just go one round?
LB: Let’s put the shoes on first.

RB half heartedly agrees and put the shoes on.

RB: Let’s walk one round instead of five.
LB: Let’s go first.

RB finally pulls itself and moves. The weather is perfect and the breeze is cool.

LB: What a nice weather!!
RB: yaaaaaaa (half interested)
LB (wishes a girl passing by): everybody is enjoying the nice weather.
RB doesn’t bother to respond.
LB: There is a sale in Stein Mart, Should check it out today.
RB (excited): Ya, I was thinking the same. Should stop by before going home. I liked one skirt when we went there last time, maybe it’s on sale….. and talks non-stop about shopping.
LB: Don’t forget that we have to cook tonight.
RB (loves cooking): I remember. Should cook something interesting today, apart from the regular stuff.
End of round 1. LB converses non-stop so that RB wouldn’t notice the end of the first round.

LB: Look at those ducks in the water, aren’t they beautiful?
RB: Yes, Ohhh, Turtles…..
LB: Where?
RB: On that branch in the lake. Looks like they are enjoying the sunshine. Hmmm…..Animals also like nice weather like me.
LB: Look at that white swan, its very pretty.
RB: Look at the black bird with red scar. God has created such beautiful colors in nature.
RB: Maybe I can tell mom to buy a saree with that color combination…Red and Black, look good together.
End of round 2.

LB (with a sarcastic smile): Do you want to go back?
RB: Let’s do one more round, since the weather is so nice.
LB: This tree is so big. I wonder what its age maybe.
RB: I think it’s more than 100 years old. If the trunk of the tree is cut, we can find its age by counting the tree tings on the trunk. RB feels that it is more intelligent than LB.
LB: I know.
RB: Look at those pretty flowers.
LB: look at these, they are prettier.
They argue about which flowers are prettier.
End of round 3.

RB (in reference to the girl passing by): Look at her. She has a perfect figure. I wonder how she maintains it.
LB to herself: She exercises everyday.
RB: We should come for walking everyday. At least throughout the summer.
LB: Yes, we should.
RB: It’s very hard to maintain a good shape.
LB to herself: Look who is talking, as if I don’t know.
RB: Maybe we should do some kind of a diet.
RB: or go to walk two times a day.
LB doesn’t respond as she is used to this talk of RB everyday.
End of round 4

LB: Let’s stop here.
RB (all excited): Let’s walk one more round to finish 5 as usual.
LB: How is work going?
RB: Alright.
LB: I am so busy, learning JAVA.
RB to herself: seen you learning from the past six months without much progress.
LB: Java is so difficult to learn. There are class, methods, objects, constructors and so onn!!!
RB: ohhhh (sarcastically)
End of round 5

LB stops and turns around to go back.
RB: Let’s go another round.
LB: I am tired. Let’s stop here.
RB: Ok, Maybe we can come back in the evening for another walk.
LB to herself: Let’s see when you bring up the topic or when you even remember!!!!!.

Next day… LB: Let’s go!!
RB: Where to?
